Artist of the week
Krzysztof Pawłowski creates in various types of stone. In 1978, he went to Vienna for a few months, and a year later he emigrated to Seattle, where he gained popularity and critical acclaim thanks to his work. In 2006, the sense of accomplishment in the United States and the constant nostalgia for his homeland decided that Pawłowski returned to Poland.

The sculpture "Angelus Saucius", which will be available for auction at the Art in House art auction on Friday, June 18, 2021, is an impressive work set on a dibond (i.e. composite board) plinth. The whole thing is 2 meters high and despite its large size it seems light and dynamic.
