Barbara Sikorski

I graduated from the Secondary School of Interior Decorators in Warsaw. In 2002, I moved to Hamburg, where I started painting. I attended the private Painting School "Art. Center ", where, under the watchful eye of a certified associate professor of painting and graphics, Krystyna Schefar, I studied for 5 years, experimenting with unconventional techniques. My subject matter of paintings is comprehensive and one of my favorite themes is the beauty and mystery of the female body. My paintings are also the transfer of reality to the canvas, i.e. landscapes, portraits, nudes. Also, the admiration for the works of great painters made copying their paintings gives me great satisfaction from communing with them and at the same time teaches me humility and awareness. In 2007, I opened my own studio in Hamburg, which I ran until my return to Poland. Many paintings were created there, which today decorate the homes of buyers. In the meantime, I was also learning how to make clay products - ceramics. From 2013 to the present day, I conduct classes in my painting and ceramics studio.
