Life sharp like a machete: 5th Auction – A New Generation for...
We invite you to bid on artworks of outstanding Polish artists who entered the art market after 1989 – the New Generation for Collectors will appear on the auction evening on June 19, 2020 at 19:30 at the Art in House Auction House (Aleje Jerozolimskie 107, Warsaw). We encourage remote bidding – by phone and online at this art auction – or by placing an order.
V Auction – New Generation for Collectors – another art auction at the Art in House Auction House on June 19, 2020.
In the catalog of this art auction you will find 34 works created by artists with a developed style and language who can boast of numerous successes on the Polish and foreign art market. Among them there will be a metaphysical female image by Katarzyna Kołtan, the textured black of Bartosz Kokosiński or the star landscape of Agata Kosmala.
Michał Cygan remains in the “street” style, commenting on the contemporary, conflicted urban space and its inhabitants; Wojtek Brewka and portrait of generation X; Basia Banda reveals the cruel mechanisms of nature and Viola Tycz depicting difficult love during an epidemic. You will find geometry in the works of Małgorzata Jastrzębska, Patrycja Nurkan, Anna Panek and Andrzej Bator; Łukasz Patelczyk, in turn, subjects landscape realism to divisions strictly defined by straight white lines.
In addition to paintings, the catalog also contains two sculptures: the prehistoric Venus by Mariusz Dydo, which places it somewhat in the tradition of traditional voodoo beliefs, and a bit of pop art; and Demeter Tomasz Górnicki, entangled in dynamic, blown robes.
From June 15 until the auction, all works will be on display at our headquarters – Art in House employees will be happy to tell you about any work from the catalog.
