Adam Gillert

In 2008 he started studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan - Faculty of Graphic Design and Visual Communication, Printmaking Department . He received a bachelor degree at the University of Arts in Poznan (formerly the Academy of Fine Arts), for my theoretical work "Block of flats as a maze", in collaboration with prof. Renata Rogozińska, and artistic work "Block for dolls", made under the supervision of prof. Miroslaw Pawlowski. In 2011 I began studies of the second degree, continuing the Faculty of Graphic (…), Printmaking Department and finished it with the master’s defense of my theoretical work “Aggression in arts”, and graphic work „Self-consciousness gives birth to needs”, after collaboration with thesis supervisors prof. of University of Arts in Poznan Roman Kubicki and prof. Mirosław Pawłowski. In parallel, beginning 2012, he begun second-degree studies at the Faculty of Painting at the University of Arts in Poznan. In 2014, he defended my diploma in painting, after writing a theoretical paper by prof. UAP Roman Kubicki, "The mutual percolation of painting and photography" and presenting my artistic work - series of paintings entitled "Album" realized under the supervision of prof. Marek Przybył. He has participated in several collective and authorial exhibitions, and received commendations in nation-wide painting competitions. In 2016 he was one of the laureates of the Three Bridges Foundation International Painting Contest and began doctoral studies at the Faculty of Painting, as well as work as an assistant in the I Drawing Studio at the University of Arts in Poznan.
