Adam Kmieciak
Adam Kmieciak (born 1977, Wrocław) is a sculptor and painter, a graduate of the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, Faculty of Painting and Sculpture. He earned his diploma in the sculpture studio of Professor Zbigniew Makarewicz.
For many years, he worked in the advertising industry as a graphic designer and Art Director, while simultaneously developing his artistic practice. As a sculptor, he specializes in realistic animal sculpture, focusing primarily on representations of horses. In painting, he explores the realm of expressive abstraction, which currently constitutes the main direction of his work.
He has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Poland, as well as in sculpture symposiums, including at the Centre of Polish Sculpture in Orońsko. His works have received multiple awards and are held in private collections around the world, including in London, Tokyo, New York, and Brussels.
