Agnieszka Sterne

A landscape architect by profession, she received her diploma in 1986 at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. She has been designing and arranging gardens for several years, and currently she pursues her passion for creation and love for nature by painting pictures. 

She paints on canvas using acrylic paints. He often experiments with the impasto technique, applying thick layers of paint with a palette knife or straight from the tube. 

Form and color are primarily important to her, and she is inspired by the nature that surrounds us, but also by photographs and paintings by other artists. 

In the artist's works, color and form dominate the deeper meaning of the image. When creating her works, she rarely designs them in advance; she usually starts with an idea, and then the artist herself guides the painting step by step. The end result most often surprises her.
