Agnieszka Wójtowicz
Agnieszka Wójtowicz was born in Zamość. She is a graduate of the State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Lublin, majoring in functional forms, specializing in artistic fabrics.
1993 - 1995: studies at the Faculty of Philosophy and Sociology of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. 1999 - 2003: studies at the Faculty of Arts of UMCS in Lublin - artistic education in the field of fine arts, diploma in the painting studio of prof. Jacek Wojciechowski, annex in the photography studio of prof. Irena Nawrot - Trzcińska. Master's thesis written under the supervision of Dr. Agnieszka Weyssenhoff: "History of the Art Gallery of the Visual Stage of the Catholic University of Lublin, based on selected artists" 2015 - postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Arts of UMCS in Lublin - Computer graphics and DTP. Member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers. He works creatively in various fields of art: painting, drawing, book illustration, photography. Her works (since 1990) have been published periodically in the journal: "Dzień" (a series of drawings presenting noble nests, manors and monuments of Lublin and the Lublin region), as well as in: "Kurier Lubelski", "Akcent" and in, , Express Faktach ”. In 1992-1993, she worked in Telewizja Independent Lublin, making sets for television programs, she was the author of the "Magazyn Teatralny" program. In 1991-1992, she collaborated with the Art Gallery of the Visual Stage of the Catholic University of Lublin. Since 1998, for several years he has been cooperating with the art studio of the Hans Christian Andersen Theater in Lublin. Since 2005, he has been cooperating with the Art Gallery of the Gardzienice Center for Theater Practices. Winner of many awards and distinctions, incl. in 2015, she received the Scholarship of the President of the City of Lublin and the Scholarship of the Marshal of the Lublin Province (2015, 2016, 2018, 2019), and received the Award of the Rector of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin (2006). She has participated in dozens of collective and over 20 individual exhibitions. Works in the collection of the Lublin District of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers in Lublin, in the collection of the Gardzienice Center for Theater Practices, private collections in the country and, among others, in Paris, London and the United States.
