Aleksandra Fronc

Aleksandra Fronc was born in 1990 in Pabianice. In 2014, she defended her diploma at the Painting Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk in the studio of prof. Jerzy Ostrogórski. He lives and works in Gdańsk, works in painting and sewing.

"The painting is for me a record of the process of coming into deep contact with my intuition. On the canvas I present RELATIONSHIP and FEELING contrasting clean colors with dirty, sweeping swipe putty with the subtly studied by the brush detail. Once it is dense and stuffy and once transparent and light. I treat painting like establishing relationships by asking myself what I want from the picture and even what the picture needs from me. In mute comes a dialogue with appearing characters, which I sometimes transfer onto paper and sometimes not. "
