Aleksandra Kosmala-Czarnecka
Aleksandra Kosmala-Czarnecka, 1986. Art accompanied her life from her early childhood. In 2009, she started studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, at the Faculty of Interior Design. During her studies, she studied painting for five years with great commitment under the supervision of professor Paweł Michalak. In 2014, she obtained a master's degree with an excellent result. After graduation, she worked as an assistant architect, graphic artist, illustrator and assistant set designer. The direction of design studies and professional experience influenced her painting style. Design thinking, developed over the years in college and in the profession, is visible in her images through simplification and a thorough analysis of the form. She gradually moved from realism in the portrait to the simplicity of colors and purity of form. Over the years, the subject matter of the portrait dominating in her painting has developed towards portraits of people in the frame, the figures of women expressing emotions with their own posture, especially with the position of their hands and hands. She is currently studying architecture, which has become the dominant creative direction for her due to the scale of design problems.
