Barbara Lorek

Barbara Lorek, born in 1962 in Lublin, began her studies at the Sculpture Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 1982, under the guidance of Professor Jan Kucz. She graduated in 1988. From 1988 to 1989, she worked as an assistant in the Scenography Studio at the Dramatic Theatre in Warsaw under the supervision of scenographer Krzysztof Pankiewicz and painter Paweł Pośrednik.

From 1994 to 1996, Lorek led a ceramics studio at the State Artistic Center in Nowolipki, Warsaw. Since 1993, she has continuously presented her work abroad, promoting Polish art in countries such as Denmark, Japan, India, England, France, and Germany.
