Bogdan Korczowski was born in 1954 in Kraków. In 1978 he graduated from the Krakow Academy of Fine Arts in the studio of Professor Włodzimierz Kunz. In the 1980s he settled in Paris, where he lives to this day. In 1986, he was awarded the Ile-de-France Regional Council Award for his artistic activity. In Korczowski's works, there are very often small signs arranged, like writing, in parallel rows, superimposed on the actual composition like a screen.
