Czesław Gałużny
Czeslaw Gałużny was born in 1951. He works in painting, drawing, interior design, wall painting, sculpture and artistic education. He belongs to the Association of Polish Artists, the Association for the Creation of Common Europe, and the Association of Polish Pastelists (he is one of the co-founders).
The artist has participated in numerous open-air paintings, in approx. 500 group exhibitions (nationwide and international), and has also made 86 individual exhibitions. He is the laureate of the Artistic Award of the City of Sosnowiec for 2000 and the First Prize of the Second International Pastel Biennale in Nowy Sącz. He also received a distinction funded by the Minister of Culture and Art during the Pastel Biennale in Nowy Sącz, honorary distinction of the Polish Pastelists Association, a distinction at the National Painting Exhibition in Częstochowa, he was awarded the Silver Badge of Merit in the Development of the Katowice Province, as well as the "Meritorious for Polish Culture" badge. , awarded by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland. In 2013, he was awarded the Medal of the Association of Polish Pastelists.
