Dariusz Piekut

Dariusz Piekut was born in 1959. In 1984 he graduated from the Institute of Artistic Education at UMCS in Lublin. Diploma in graphics / lithography / in the studio of prof. Danuta Kołwzan-Nowicka. Works in the field of painting and drawing Works in the collections of the Museum in Lubaczów, BWA in Zamość, the Museum in Bielsko Biała and the Nowa Huta Cultural Center in Krakow Participant of over 40 individual and over 100 collective exhibitions in Poland and abroad / Germany, Italy, Thailand, Slovakia , Lithuania, Australia /. In 1997 he received a scholarship from the Minister of Culture and Art. In 2010, he was awarded the Certificate of the Highest Quality-Short List of the 7th International Drawing Biennale in Pilsen, Czech Republic. He has received several awards and distinctions for his work in the field of drawing and painting.
