Dominika Korzeniowska
Dominika Korzeniowska Born in Krakow in 1971. Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts, Faculty of Design in Krakow. She completed doctoral studies at the Faculty of Graphics of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and received a PhD in art in 2017. In 1994/95 she was a scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and Art. In 2000, she received the first prize in a competition and all this is serious at the Neues Kunsthause Arenshoop (Germany) - presenting the installation of woven painting objects Przedwiośnie. In 2001/2002, for Arkadius (England), the National Opera in Warsaw and the LA Opera (USA), she designed fabrics and costumes for the opera by A. Mozart - Don Giovanni, directed by M. Treliński and stage design by B. Kudliczka. She is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Graphics of the WIT in Warsaw in the Studio of Graphic Design and Digital Illustration. She creates paintings, woven objects, painting installations. Works in graphic design and digital illustration. It draws inspiration from nature, literature and music, but also from the works of minimalists, contemporary avant-garde, Lary Poons' experiments and street art. Korzeniowska has participated in several dozen group exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Individually, she exhibited her works at the 022 OW ZPAP Gallery in 2019 Colors and in 2012, no big deal. She willingly participates in charity auctions: Tennis Art in Poznań, Ziarno Sztuki, Garden of Hope in Warsaw. She lives and works in Warsaw's Powiśle.
