Dorota Brodowska

She was born in 1954. In 1980, she obtained a diploma in the painting studio of Ludwik Maciąg at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. She debuted with the exhibition "Any similarity of persons and events is purely accidental" at Piwnica Pod Baranami in Krakow.

Her work often combines painting and sculpture. He uses unusual materials for his spatial projects, e.g. recyclable materials. He also implements projects in the field of graphics, applied art and also as part of theater performances.

She took part in many Polish and foreign exhibitions (Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Russia, France). She is a laureate of the Polcul Foundation award, multiple scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture and Art, scholarship holder for the year 2010 Warsaw ('Punkolage and Recycled - Third Millennium Gardens' project).
