Emilia Waszak

 In my paintings and graphics I create a fairy-tale, spiritual story. I refer to the Polish legends and fairy tales.  The constant motifs of my art are animals such as fish, cats, dogs and birds. The heroes are also women, puppets. In my cycles where the heroine are women, the constant motifs are water, fish and the moon and cyclist. These series are spiritual and show the magical nature of the world.

 2013 - victory in the competition for wall composition for Oncological Hospital in Bydgoszcz

2014 - third place in the competition Bydgoszcz Plastic Artist Regionally 2nd Edition for the years 2013-2015

2017 -  watercolor workshop in Italy "Architecture and landscape of Florence" for four distinguished students of UMK Torun

2018 - Honorable Mention in the National Competition INSPIRATIONS '2018 Foundation for Contemporary Art PALETA by Maria Wollenberg - Kluza in Warsaw
