Grzegorz Śmigielski

Graduate of the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Studies in the studios of prof. Jacek Sienicki, prof. Ludwik Maciąg and prof. Halina Chrostowska. Diploma 1986

Known for his sympathy for the realism of the 1930s and 1950s and his outstanding talent for portrait painting (he continues the best traditions of Polish portrait painters of the late 19th and early 20th centuries).
