She comes from Rybnik. Iwona graduated from the Art Institute of Cieszyn Silesia University, where she created a series of linocuts named "thoughtful faces". Her adventure with painting first started in Cultural Centre in Rybnik, where she participated lessons of painting under the direction of Marian Cancer.
