Jacek Walczak

Jacek Walczak lives and works in Wrocław, where he graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Technology. To this day, he is associated with his alma mater and lectures at the Department of Drawing, Painting and Sculpture.

His surreal representations most often show urban landscapes. Architecture intertwines here with fairy-tale images, introducing an atmosphere resembling dream visions. Some of these dreams seem to take the viewer into the underwater world. Most often we find fish and other aquatic creatures on Walczak's canvases.
