Jadwiga Olszewska Szewczyk - born 1986, visual artist, in 2012 she graduated from the art school, Faculty of Arts of the University of Silesia in Cieszyn, she took part in exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Among others: 2013 - BWA Nowy Sącz, Poland - participation in the 6th International Pastel Biennale, 2014 - Orangerie du Parc de la Tete d'Or, Lyon, France - participation in the 4th International Pastel Biennale 2017 - participation in the 4th International Pastel Biennale in Spain, Oviedo 2018 - Bisztynek, Poland: participation in the art competition entitled: "Architectural Landscape 2018 - Saint Aulaye, France: participation in the International Pastel Exhibition 2020 - participation in the 5th International Pastel Biennale in Spain, Oviedo 2022 - participation in the 5th International Pastel Biennale Saint Leonard, Boulogne sur Mer, France 2022 - participation in the competition "My Zakopane 2022", Zakopane, Poland. In painting and pastel, the artist is interested in the landscape and urban structure. Important for her are compositional issues and color combinations. She creates series of works concerning cities and urban architecture.
