Jakub Adamek

Jakub Adamek was born in 1975 in Sosnowiec. In 2001, under the supervision of prof. Mariana Oslislo defended his diploma thesis entitled "City Windows", presenting a series of posters describing episodes from the lives of young people in a large-panel housing estate. In 2008 he received the degree of Doctor of Arts. The supervisor of the thesis "Animals are permanent. Illusions, games, simulations at Animal Planet" was prof. Antoni Cygan. Since 2004, he has been an employee of his alma mater, where he runs the First Year Painting Studio.
