Jolanta Grocholska-Janczara

Jolanta Grocholska Janczara is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław. She studied graphics with prof. I.J. Alexius. He is a member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers, Wrocław District.

The artist works mainly with portraiture. Insightful observation, efficient drawing, coorist sensitivity, expression and open emotionality create the permanent foundation of this painting. It is distinguished by the care to show the unique features of the person portrayed. At the same time, an excellent sense of decorativeness manifests itself in arranging the composition of a human figure against the background of an imaginary, abstract and often metaphorical, undefined painting scenery.
