Julia Dunko

visibility DISPLAYS: 0

Julia Dunko was born in 1991. She studied at the Pinsk State College of Fine Arts (graphic designer) and at Vitebsk State University under the supervision of P.M. Maszerowa. She taught art at an art school for 6 years and participated in exhibitions in Belarus, Poland, Russia, Spain and Italy. Her works are in private collections in Europe, Asia and America. In his artistic works he explores space. Her abstract paintings explore the possibility of minimalist composition and reveal a new illusion of perception. Each painting is built in layers with an artistic proportion of forms, the sketch of which Julia initially creates on a graphic tablet. The accent contrast with the surrounding space creates a feeling of depth and volume with the help of gold lines and shadows from them on a white background, created using the sfumato technique. Where the golden lines intersect, the shadows are deepest, creating a sense of infinite depth, an illusion of penetration into space that seems to extend beyond the boundaries of the canvas, while light seems to pull inexorably inward. Her thought-provoking works of art - as the artist says - open up possibilities and proclaim infinity and eternity.
