DISPLAYS: Juliusz Joniak was born in 1941 in Lviv. He studied at the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. He joined his home university for years, where he worked as an assistant, assistant professor, and finally obtained the title of professor. Joniak's works are inspired by expressionism and post-impressionism. From the early 1980s, his painting was dominated by landscapes, mainly in southern countries (France, Spain, Italy).
