Kamil Gos

Kamil Gos, born 1989.

The artist's work stems from his professional experience with a fascination for light. He translated this inspiration into abstract painting, developing a unique technique. His paintings combine the effect of contrasting blurring of forms with multidimensional depth, achieved through the use of thick layers of paint and a subtle play of light and shade. The subject matter of the works often refers to various emotional states, which, using light and space, provoke the viewer to individual interpretation. The artist derives the greatest satisfaction from the fact that each recipient finds something personal in his works, building their own narrative.

His works have been presented at group exhibitions in Warsaw and London, and are also found in private collections in Poland, Spain, the Netherlands and Great Britain. Apart from his artistic activity, he serves as the president of a company dealing with the maintenance of street lighting in Warsaw, which additionally deepens his artistic sensitivity to light and its properties.
