Katarzyna Bułka-Matłacz
Katarzyna Bułka-Matłacz graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, at the Faculty of Sculpture. She studied with professors: G. Zemła, S. Kulon, J. Kucz and P. Gawron. In 1991, she obtained a master's degree in art, and in the following year she received a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and Art.
Bułka-Matłacz's works are a combination of elements of surrealism, in which the artist shows the complexity of human nature. Using accurate mental shortcuts, he closes philosophical stories in his sculptures. Each of the works is unique and unique, made with care and precision.
The sculptor is the author of many statuettes as awards of various prestigious companies, such as: European Bridge League, Puls Biznesu (Gazele Biznesu), TVN (Normal Hero), Credit Suisse, Axel Springer, Kraft Foods, AXA, AIG, BRE Bank, Forbes, Newsweek and others.
