Katarzyna Lipska-Ziębińska

Katarzyna Lipska Ziębińska from Warsaw, born in 1974, graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw - diploma in design in the studio of W. Brzeziński and an annex in painting in the studio of Ł. Korolkiewicz. I received a scholarship from Dean A. Strzelewicz in 1996-1999. I am a graduate of the University of Warsaw - diploma as a manager and cultural animator. I belong to the Association of Polish Artists of the Warsaw District and the International Association of Graphic Designers in Krakow. By education and passion, I am a creator of visual arts, a painter and a graphic artist. I am the author of many implemented designs of functional and graphic forms, including for PL Lot, Loreal Polska, Bayer, Schroeder and Tarczyn. Currently, I am creating a cyclical project of exhibitions about graphic miniatures and bookplates, PIKTOGRAFIKON, in which Polish and world artists take part. PIKTOGRAFIKON aims to promote miniature graphic art, spread interest and knowledge about bookplates and is an open project to which professional artists can join. In the years 2003-2024, I participated in individual and collective exhibitions of painting and graphics in Poland, including in the Association of Legal Advisors in Warsaw, in Gallery 210 and in the Gallery of the Legionowa Office, in the Wieża Gallery and the Rampa Theater in Warsaw, in the Profil gallery in Poznań, in the Galeria przy Kozy in Warsaw and in the Earth Museum of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Moreover, since 2016, I have been constantly participating in the artists of Ursynów exhibition and in the Saska Kępa Festival, where I present my original artistic achievements. In recent years, my works have been qualified for international competitions and presented at exhibitions: Linocut and Woodcut Quadrennial in Olsztyn 2019, Exlibris im. Klemens Raczak in Poznań 2019, Grafiteka ZPAP 2019 XXVII Biennial of Contemporary Bookplates in Malbork 2020-2021 Polish Art in the Time of the Pandemic ZPAP OW Gallery DAP1/2020 Quarantine diary ZPAP OW Lufcik Gallery /2020 Naked truth /Side by side ZPAP OW Gallery DAP1/ 202 0 Transgraphia project-Pandemic-Art online SMTG Kraków 2020 Grafiteka ZPAP OW Gallery DAP3 / 2020 - 2021 I belong to artistic groups at ZPAP OW - Positive Art, Grafiteka and to the Painting, Graphics and Textile Section. My works are presented in 2021 at the 8th International Biennial The Art of Miniature 2021and 2023 - Ruse, Bulgaria, at the EX LIBRIS International Exhibition at the Gallery of the Sándor Oláh Circle of the MMK People's Circle - HUNGARY; at the 8th and 9th International Biennial of Miniature Art in Rus - Bulgaria;in the Fourth of the International ExLibris Competition Varna 2021, where I received the 3rd prize for an ex libris dedicated to Jordan Petek. I run the "Gardens of Art" studio where I promote creative and educational workshops in various artistic fields, available free of charge and for a fee in cooperation with Cultural Institutions and commercial places of artistic education. I am creating a cyclical project of exhibitions about graphic miniatures and bookplates, PIKTOGRAFIKON, in which Polish and world artists take part.
