Krzysztof Pasztuła
Krzysztof Pasztuła was born in 1953 in Dobrzany near Stargard Szczeciński. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice at the Faculty of Graphics. He received his diploma in poster under the supervision of prof. Tadeusz Grabowski and an annex in graphics in the studio of prof. Stanisław Gawron, awarded with a medal in 1978.
He works with painting, drawing and graphics. He has participated in over 140 group exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Has individual exhibitions in Katowice (1995, 2001, 2002, 2006), Gorzów Wielkopolski (1997), Tychy (1997), Ruda Śląska (2002), Mysłowice (2004), Mikołów (2004), Oświęcim (2002), Prudniku (2005), Łódź (2005), Sieradz (2005), Duszniki Zdrój (2006), Zielona Góra (2006, 2008), Warsaw (2006), Olkusz (2009), Olecku (2009), Szczyrk (2010), Iława (2010) and in Germany (1989) and Norway (2005).
He is also a laureate of the following awards: 1980 - Award of Merit, World Print III, San Francisco, 1981 - 2nd prize, "Creative Postures", Katowice, 1982 - award of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers, Exhibition of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers - Katowice, 1988 - distinction in the competition for the cultural poster of the year '87, Katowice; Grand Prix, II Biennale ZPAMiG, BWA Katowice; annual scholarship of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, 1999 - distinction, 53 'Salon Artistes du Hurepoix, Paris, 2002 - equal award, competition "Work of the Year", ZPAP Katowice, 2003 - distinction, 57' Salon Artistes du Hurepoix, Paris.
