Luiza Los-Pławszewska

Luiza Los-Pławszewska is Polish artist born in 1963 in Szczecin. In 1983 she graduated from the State High School of Fine Arts in Szczecin. In 1991, she graduated from the history of art at the University of Wrocław. In years 2018-2020 she studied painting (Postgraduate Studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw). She currently lives and works in Opole. 

"In my painting, analyzing colors, lines and structures bothers me the most. I like to play unsaid and sometimes hide the obvious. I work with oil and acrylic on canvas or I use mixed techniques. In paintings I usually focus on nature and man - his gestures, movement and gaze. Nature is also in the center of attention. I want to capture my moment of emotional state stopped in time, elation and reflection. My compositions are based on simple compilations of contrast of colorful spots that give expressiveness to values ??and build the atmosphere of the image. "
