Magdalena Rochoń

Magdalena Rochoń, born in 1971 in Działdowo, has lived in Lidzbark Welski in Masuria since 1993. She has been involved in painting for many years, but has been painting most intensively since 2005. She has over 900 paintings in her portfolio, which decorate private galleries in Poland and abroad (including Germany, Norway, Belgium, Australia, Canada and the USA). She likes to create with oil and acrylic paints, sometimes reaching for watercolours and pastels. The most common subject of her works is a woman. She likes to paint female portraits and nudes, to tell about feelings - emotions locked in their beautiful souls and bodies. When painting flowers, she most often paints these "free" wild meadows with herbs or village gardens. Sometimes animals, genre scenes, still life, landscape, architecture and abstraction, very often portraits on individual orders. She took part in the competition exhibition of artists in Ciechanów at the District Center of Culture and Art where she took 2nd place, and also in the District Competition of Non-Professional Creativity organized by the MGOK in Lidzbark in cooperation with the District Office in Działdowo in 2007 where she took 2nd place, while in 2009 and 2019 she took 1st place, and in 2011 and 2121 she received a distinction.
