Malwina Wójcik was born in 1979 and has been dealing with icons since 1999. The artist paints copies of famous icons from the 14th and 16th centuries. She works using traditional techniques. She paints with yellow tempera on a primed board with glued canvas, and the gilding is done with gold or silver metal.
