Marcin Maciejowski

Born in 1974. In 2001 he obtained a diploma in the poster studio of prof. Piotr Kunce at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. Member of the Ładnie group until 2001. Founder and co-editor (together with Rafał Bujnowski) of "Słynne Pismo we Wtorek".

His work is distinguished by its simple form: comic book convention, narrative inscriptions, themes of everyday life and the prosaic. He draws inspiration from Polish reality, in which he perceives "homeliness" as a subject for deeper artistic reflection. He also deals with wall painting.
