Marek Sobczyk

In 1980 he received a diploma in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, in the studio of S. Gierowski. In 1983 he joined Gruppa, he published the lyrics in group newspaper “Oj dobrze”. His works were presented on most of the exhibitions organized by Gruppa. In 1997 he published the book Simplifying Art. He has been cooperating with the Zderzak Gallery for years. In the 1990s he ran - together with Jarosław Modzelewski - a private School of Art in Warsaw. He also works in the company with Piotr Młodożeńc Zafryki. He is the author of theoretical texts and publications devoted to art.
