Mariusz Brzyzek

Mariusz Brzyzek was born in 1984.

A graduate of a fine arts program in Kraków with a specialization in film animation. He has always been passionate about painting, drawing, and music. In his painting practice, he values street art the most, finding significant inspiration in artists of that genre. His creations are a form of self-expression. While listening to music, he reaches into a world of dreams and the magical moments of childhood—motifs that clearly influence his work.

He often portrays his characters as dreamers and travelers eager to conquer the world, always accompanied by a balloon with a goldfish inside—a symbol of luck. His paintings also serve as messages to the world—thoughts he wants to give form to. For this reason, the titles of his works are just as important as the visual motifs on the canvas.

He is passionate about paintings that are not only decorative but also thought-provoking, inviting moments of reflection and making it hard to look away. Through his art, the artist both provokes and encourages personal interpretations, allowing viewers to find a piece of their own world within his creations. It’s a journey that anyone can take by closely following the evolving stories illustrated on his canvases.

His works are exhibited in art galleries across Poland in auctions of Young Art and the New Generation, as well as at Vache Bleue Galleries in the United Kingdom.
