Marta Zygmunt

Marta Zygmunt, born in Sosnowiec in 1978, is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, specializing in Ceramics and Glass. In 2022, she earned her diploma in Painting from the Faculty of Art at the Jan Długosz University in Częstochowa. Primarily engaged in figurative painting, she is also comfortable exploring abstract color compositions. Her paintings capture fleeting impressions on canvas, taking the viewer on a journey through various emotional states and reflections. Inspiration for her canvas work is drawn from personal experiences, the legacy of master painters, as well as mythology and ancient art, giving her pieces a distinctive character. Technical precision and profound emotions are hallmarks of her work, demonstrated through the contrast of expressive, swift brushstrokes juxtaposed with subtle, delicate spots.
