Marzena Bigaj

Marzena Bigaj in 1987-1992 studied at the Graphics Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. As part of her specialization, she dealt with lithography, acid engraving, linocut and wall painting techniques (annex at the Faculty of Painting). In 1992, she completed her diploma in the Studio of Graphic Arts of prof. Roman Artymowski and additionally in the Drawing Studio of prof. Juliana Raczko. In 2010, she graduated from the ZPAF Photography College in Warsaw (diploma in photography at the studio of Dr. Prot Jarnuszkiewicz). As part of the postgraduate workshops, I realized a series of personal photo projects under the supervision of Mikołaj Grynberg, among others: "Home", "Returns to childhood", "Stalowa Street". Currently, she works with sculpture, batik, eco-dyeing and artistic photography.
