Michał Ostaniewicz

Michał Ostaniewicz - architect, interior designer, designer of industrial forms and publishing graphics, draftsman, painter. He gained his education at the Faculty of Architecture of the Poznań University of Technology and the Warsaw University of Technology, where he obtained a master's degree having the status of a creator in the field of fine arts, including painting, applied graphics and design of industrial forms. The scope of Michał Ostaniewicz's work is extremely wide. However, drawing and painting are the leading fields. Thanks to his many years of experience, the artist has an extremely rich and diverse workshop. From guilloches and ornaments combined in various combinations with features of order and consistency in a series of extraordinary "wind roses", through personal architectural interpretations leading towards geometric abstractions with hidden content in the background to as if naturalistic, but devoid of plans and painterly perspective, simplified in shape and form, flattened elements of still life. For over 40 years, he has been filling the private interiors of collectors with his works, taking part in many exhibitions, art auctions, winning awards and recognition. He is a member of the PLENER Circle at OW SARP and of the Association of Polish Painters and Graphic Artists.
