Michał Suffczyński
Michał Suffczyński is a graduate of the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology and the University of Detroit Mercy, a scholarship holder of the Residenza Universitaria Internazionale Foundation (Rome 1990) and the Government of the Republic of Italy (Perugia 1991, Siena 1997). One of the founders of the Polish Watercolor Association. He is also a participant in the scientific exchange between the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology and the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Detroit, where he studied and then lectured on visual communication. His diploma project was the Contemporary Art Gallery project (supervisor: arch. Andrzej Miklaszewski).
In 2000-2008 an assistant, currently an assistant professor at the Drawing, Painting and Sculpture Studio of the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology. PhD thesis: "Structural drawing in the presentation of architectural space" (supervisor: Prof. Lech Kłosiewicz, Ph.D., Eng.).
Creator of illustrations using drawing techniques and watercolors for the media, advertising agencies, architectural companies and private collections. Author of the panorama of the center of Warsaw for Cushman & Wakefield, presenting works in art galleries in Warsaw, Łódź, Poznań, Toruń, Gdańsk, Kraków and in Zakopane in the studio of Jan Karpiel Bułecki.
Participant of international urban planning workshops in Brussels, Cairo, Berlin, Bucharest and Saint Petersburg (cooperation with Duany Plater-Zyberk & Company), open-air painting workshops in Kazimierz Dolny on the Vistula, Toruń, Arezzo (Tuscany) and Sicily, as well as collective and individual exhibitions.
