Mirosław Śledź
Mirosław Śledź started painting in 1991 and two years later, under the influence of cubist inspiration, he created his own style in which he eliminated all roundness, leaving only simple, geometric forms. He described his style as "quadrism". The artist had his first exhibition at the "Art en Marge" gallery in Brussels in September 1994. The artist's work belongs to the "art brut" trend, ie raw art. Since 1994 (thanks to Dr. Magdalena Tyszkiewicz, a representative of the Polish International Association of Artotherapy, who runs the Gdynia Art Lovers Club), M. in Kyoto, Yokohama, Biarritz, Bordeaux, Chicago, Munich and Venice. The artist took part in many national and international plein-airs, incl. 1995 in Liege, the exhibition "Blind Walk" in Koeln (2002) and four exhibitions in Druskininkai (2005-2009). He is a laureate of many awards and distinctions.
