Monika Kusak-Leśniak

Monika Kuska-Leśniak was born in 1971. She lives in Kraków. Here he works as a graphic designer. She is inspired by the works of Dutch and German masters: Rogier Van der Weyden, Van Eyck, Petrus Christus, Robert Campin and Lukas Cranach. Her paintings are dominated by a line - which has become a way to build fabrics, skin structure, hair and background. The intricate and laborious filling of the canvas space with lines brings her, as she says, inner peace and constitutes a kind of therapy, restoring balance and harmony.
