Natalia Bienek - born in 1983, lives in Krakow. She started communing with art as a child in her family home. Later, she developed her interests and workshop in various art centers and community centers. She created works using many techniques on a wide variety of topics. She was looking for. Curiosity about the world and other cultures made her leave Poland shortly after graduating from high school.

She began wandering with a sketchbook in her hand. He has had several longer stays behind him in France, which he considers his second homeland. She spent about six months in Paris and it was in this artistic city that she absorbed everything that could be found in local museums. The Art Nouveau style has always been particularly close to her. In Poland, she started studies at the Faculty of Philology of the Jagiellonian University, but after her second year of studies, she abandoned French philology and decided to devote herself entirely to painting.

For personal reasons, she became interested in neurobiology. She was fascinated by the beauty of laboratory photos of pyramidal neurons - since then she works mainly in the field of biological art. The topic of nerve cell morphology has become dominant. She became acquainted with the works of famous neurobiologists: Cajal and Golgi, and it was from them that she drew her first inspiration. Delicate, intricate networks of neurons have been transferred to gilded canvases. Favorite painting materials are acrylic, alcohol inks and mackerel. Her work is a symbiosis between science, abstract composition and rich decorative values. Over the years, she has developed her own unique technique.
