Piotr Lutyński
(born 1962)
A Polish artist combining painting, sculpture and sound. He graduated from the Antoni Kenar State High School of Fine Arts in Zakopane in 1982. He studied at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Fine Arts of the University of Silesia Branch in Cieszyn (1983-1990). In 1990 he defended his diploma in graphics in the studio of prof. Eugeniusz Delekta. His work combines art with nature, using biological and musical elements in his projects, including live animals. Lutyński is a co-founder of the musical formation Rdzeń and an organizer of innovative exhibitions that engage animals in the artistic process. He lives and works in Krakow, and his works are in many renowned collections.
