Przemysław Lasak
Przemysław Lasak was born in 1958 in Opole, Poland. He is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, where he studied under Krystyna Cybińska. In 1986, he received his diploma, which was awarded both the Rector’s Prize and the Prize of the Minister of Culture and Art. After completing his studies, he began working at his alma mater, where he has held the title of full professor since 2002.
Lasak creates both ceramic works and oil paintings. He is known for his ceramic series composed of life-size sculptures depicting human figures.
Among his many achievements is the gold medal he received at the 47th International Competition of Artistic Ceramics in Faenza in 1991. He has also participated in international ceramic symposia such as Porcelain Differently in Wałbrzych, as well as painting workshops in Kamion, Szczyrk, and Mikołów.
