Rafał Strent

Born in 1943 in Volhynia. Studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Faculty of Painting, in the studio of prof. Aleksander Kobzdej. Workshop graphics annex with prof. Halina Chrostowska. Diploma in 1972. Since 1972, he has been working as a lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts. He practices painting, graphics and drawing. Author of several dozen individual exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Participant of approximately 300 domestic and foreign collective exhibitions. He is the winner of numerous awards and distinctions, including: in: Post-Competition Painting Exhibition Musee 2000 (Luxembourg 1971), International Grand Prix of Contemporary Art (Monte Carlo 1979). The professor's graphics and paintings are in museum collections in Poland and abroad.
