Sławomir Wojtkiewicz

Sławomir Wotkiewicz was born in 1979 in Białystok. A graduate of the Secondary School of Fine Arts in Supraśl. He studied at the Faculty of Architecture of the Białystok University of Technology and obtained a master's degree in architectural engineering in 2004. In 2011, he obtained a doctoral degree at the Faculty of Architecture of the Krakow University of Technology. Currently, he is a lecturer at the Landscape Architecture course at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Białystok University of Technology.

In painting techniques, he is a colorist. In his paintings, he combines texture, monochrome and color. Thus, he obtains a subtle play of the painting plane and the metaphysics of the image space, the aim of which is to coexist in the programmed interior space. Drawing and graphics in his work blur the boundaries of reality with the unreality of representations - this is another interesting background for his creative attitudes. The angle of abstraction is less noticeable, on the contrary, in this case the figurative arrangement dominates.

He is the author of a number of scientific publications, architectural realizations in Poland and abroad, awards in architectural competitions as well as several hundred graphic, drawing and painting works. In the period October 2008 - 2009 he is in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, holding the position of senior designer at the design company FA Consultants in Riyadh. He devotes this period to collecting materials for his doctoral dissertation. The public dissertation on the doctoral dissertation takes place at the Faculty of Architecture of the Cracow University of Technology on May 17, 2011. Currently, he works at the Białystok University of Technology, Faculty of Civil Engineering, major in Landscape Architecture. He teaches subjects in the field of art, conducts design and art classes with students. Board member of the Bialystok Association of Culture and Art "ArsPolis", member of the board of the Association of Polish Landscape Architects.
