Stanisław Górski

Stanisław Górski was born in 1887 in Kościan and died in 1955 in Kraków. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, in the years 1909-1914 in the studio of Józef Pankiewicz, and in the years 1916-1917 in the studio of Teodor Axentowicz. The most often he painted in pastel, although his oil and watercolor works are also known. He dealt primarily with portraits of highlanders and highlander women, but he also painted beautiful, high-born women. His works have been shown at many exhibitions.
