Szymon Kurpiewski

Szymon Kurpiewski was born in Konin in 1984. He graduated from the Secondary School in Konin. He studied at the University of Life Sciences in Poznań at the Faculty of Landscape Architecture in 2008-2013. He lives and works in Poznań. In his work, he focuses on oil painting. In his latest works, he builds space on the principle of a collage. He mainly moves within the framework of classical painting. Often contrasting the content with the form. While remaining faithful to painting, he often uses other media; photography, computer graphics. His paintings are in private collections in Poland and abroad.
