Teresa Pastuszka-Kowalska
Teresa Pastuszka-Kowalska was born on March 16, 1960, in Kolonia Piaski. She is a sculptor and a member of several organizations including ZPAP (Association of Polish Artists and Designers), the Association of Creative Workshops Lubelska 30/32, the Association of Stanisław from Skalbmierz, the Society of Friends of Mazovia, and Via Warsovia. Additionally, she is a certified teacher, educator, and caregiver at the Youth Sociotherapy Center MOS SOS No. 1, as well as a lecturer at the College of Ecology and Management in Warsaw.
In 1980, she graduated from the State Secondary School of Fine Arts named after Józef Szermentowski in Kielce. As the top graduate of the year, she received a medal and a scholarship to study at a university in Leningrad, which she did not utilize.
From 1980 to 1985, she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw at the Sculpture Department in Gustaw Zemła's studio. She graduated from the university with honors. In her daily projects, she collaborates with her husband, Dariusz Kowalski.
She exhibits her works abroad, including in Syria, Germany, Belgium, Argentina, Italy, France, Latvia, Lithuania, as well as in Poland.
