Tomasz Pilikowski studied at the painting department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. In 2013, he defended his master's degree in art with an excellent result and dean's distinction. He also studied at the Universitat Politècnica de València. Acting as part of the i. Group, which also includes Józef Starowieyski and Michał Stańczyk, he undertook a number of performative activities. Apart from painting, he deals with video art and conceptual art.
