Wacław Ropiecki (Peter Pilgrim)
Wacław Ropiecki was born in 1951 in Wrocław. He graduated in mathematics. Visual artist, writer, painter, speaker, curator, guest lecturer at art academies, for many years a missionary and volunteer in Russia and Ukraine. Since the introduction of the Martial Law in Poland in 1981, he has called all his work as the Traveling Gallery MORE LIGHT! He has been using the pseudonym Peter Pilgrim for some time. PILGRIM'S ART. Is a painting showing the fight that is taking place for a man in the spiritual world, and which depends on his decisions. The images also show views of paradise, Hell (where most people end up), and the most terrible place of torment, Tartarus, which was created after the fallen angels' first rebellion. He has many individual and collective exhibitions to his credit, and his works are in museums and private collections in Europe, the USA and Japan.
